Elections

Election day has come and gone and it didn't go too well in my corner of the world. My picks for our state rep. and commonwealth atty. did not win and I'm saddened by that because the former is an old family friend and the latter is Josh's old boss. At Josh's boss' campaign fish fry I did meet the man who did get elected our state rep. and he seemed like a very passionate politico who did want to do some good. He's not much older than me, within my decade, so it will be nice to have some young blood in the house.

Since the election is over, Josh can now go back to being an active member in the Montgomery County Democratic Party Executive Committee and he'll be bringing me along as a hopeful member if they still have the space. That will be a lot of fun, I need something political to do now that my political fantasy-land has taken its final bow with President Santos.

I am happy to report that my favorite on my political fantasy-land The West Wing, Bradley Whitford, will return to NBC this fall in Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip along with my favorite Friend Matthew Perry. At least there's one show on the horizon that will get me through my West Wing loss next season.

Also, a big congratulations to Wes and Amanda on their wedding this past Saturday, May 13. It is nice not to be seeing him blog on his honeymoon week.
